215 – Reminder: Executions of Titles Instruments by a Body Corporate

Titles Queensland would like to remind you of the updated requirements for executions of Titles Instruments by a Body Corporate.

These updated requirements were published in the Land Title Practice Manual on 28 August 2024.

All titles instruments executed by a body corporate after 28 August 2024 must be executed in accordance with the updated requirements.

In addition to the execution requirements, new forms were also introduced:

• Introduction of a new Form 20 – BCCM Execution for the execution of all titles instruments other than a Form 14 by a body corporate
• Form 14 & CMS Form (which combined the request to record a First or a New CMS into one form) has been split into two separate forms:

(i) First CMS; and

(ii) New CMS.

Note: The previous Form 14 & CMS Form will continue to be accepted until 1 February 2025, however new execution requirements will apply when recording a New CMS. Refer to LTPM Part [45-2060].
